Dayner ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your
rights regarding your personal data when you use the Dayner app.
2Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, display name, profile photo
- Usage data: daily plans, time zones, sphere activities, and presets you create
- Device data: device type and OS version (for crash reporting)
We do NOT collect: location data, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers.
3How We Use Your Data
✓To provide and improve the Dayner service
✓To send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset)
✓To sync your data across devices via secure cloud storage
We never sell your data to third parties, and we never use your data for advertising.
4Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored securely on Supabase (EU region, Ireland)
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
- Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain, never in plain text
- Row-level security ensures only you can access your data

We rely on the following processors to operate Dayner, each bound by a data processing agreement:
6Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your data — export available in app
- Correct your data — edit in app settings
- Delete your data — delete account in app settings
These rights can be exercised directly in the app, or by contacting
support@dayner.app.
7Data Retention
- Active account: data is retained while your account is active
- Deleted account: all data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Backups: purged within 30 days of account deletion
8Children's Privacy
Dayner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly
collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has
provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of
significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued
use of Dayner after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated
policy.
